God has made it clear in His Word that without faith, it is impossible to please Him. God longs for us – His children, to have “complete trust” in Him that we are willing to follow His command, even if it doesn’t make sense to us or in the society we live in.

God knows it’s not easy to exercise our faith, but still requires us to so because “real wealth” can only be supplied by Him. As His children, we need to reach that level of trust & confidence in the Lord that we can wholeheartedly submit ourselves to His ways. God is looking for people who can do that and has left a comforting promise of rock solid security & strong support in times of trial & testing.

“For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” -2 Chronicles 16:9

God’s ability to provide is not limited by what’s happening around us. He can bless us anytime He wants to. So when He instructs us to give or be generous with others, we should follow Him by faith; confident that at the right time, in the right way, and at the right place, He will make a way for us to “stand” in the midst of our trials.
 
The Bible says, “No good thing will God withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Let us continue to pursue the things God wants us to do and let Him take care of all our needs.

The enemy doesn’t mind if we talk about our faith all day — as long as we don’t practice it. He makes sure we neglect even the most basic commands of the Lord so that he can keep us in continuous fear & worry about our financial situations.

Today, God is reminding us that our passivity towards His instructions is the source of our financial miseries because it shows our lack of trust in His capability to bless us. So, if we really want to be released from our troubles, we need to start opening our hearts and have that desire not only to be blessed, but to also be a blessing to others.

God knows how most of us want to break free from our financial problems & responsibilities. He hears the concerns of our hearts and it saddens Him when we choose to turn to people for answers.

God wants to remind us today that when we place our HOPE on anyone or anything other than HIM, we are setting ourselves up for disappointment. But when we focus all our efforts in knowing what pleases Him & following it — blessings shall follow. Only in God’s ways can we be assured of true abundance & freedom from our fears.

“Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t plant or harvest, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren’t you? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek His kingdom above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” – Matt 6:26,33
