It’s not easy to express our faith when times are tough. But true faith is realizing that we can rest in God’s promises until its fulfillment comes. It pleases God when we depend on His reliability and believe every Word that He says because our faith is very important to Him.

At the start of every year, we are inspired & excited to list all the resolutions we believe can change our lives. But today, God is reminding us to make the “growing of our faith” our top priority because this will align all our desires & plans in accordance to God’s perfect will — and in His perfect will, there is true freedom, true change & joy.

“Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see..” ( Hebrews 11:1 )

It’s always good for us to remember why the Lord our God made the ultimate act of love when He sent Jesus on earth to save us because this will give us the direction that we need as we go through life’s ups & downs. God wants to be with us & He loves us with an everlasting love. Let that sink in your heart. He wants to save us “FROM” our sins and release us from bondage so we can finally experience the peaceful life we always want to have.

“Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins

and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death & crowns me with love and tender mercies.”(Psalm 103:2-3)

We all have something we want to receive as gifts this holiday season. And as we approach the coming festivities & celebrate Christmas with our loved ones, God wants to remind all of us that 2,000 years ago, He has given us the GREATEST GIFT that we could ever receive.

This GIFT has a “life-changing & life-giving” purpose that will last forever. Let us not allow the busyness of this season to overshadow the amazing purpose of the birth of our Savior. Join us as we dig deeper & understand this gift that will inspire us to pursue His presence more, especially in the coming new year.

Since we are living in a fast-paced & busy culture, most of us tend to become lazy in cultivating a deep spiritual life. But God has called us to live in constant pursuit of a peaceful and godly lifestyle, because godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life & the life to come. This promise is made available for us, and as God’s chosen people, dearly loved by Him, He has given us the power to live a holy life & enjoy His presence. All we need to do is to humbly acknowledge Him in all our ways and live in obedience to His holy Word.
