Radio: The Cheap “I Am Sorry” Part 3
When God tells you that there’s something wrong with you, how do you respond to Him?
Many people easily say “I am sorry”, but fail to realize that repentance is not just a confession but a genuine change of heart & attitude. Saying “I sinned” is good, but not good enough. Repentance is not damage control in order to save face or not suffer losses. A true repentant person doesn’t care about his losses. True repentance carries a deep desire to change before God. It is crying out for Jesus. It is rest for His soul.
“For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin & results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.” -2 Corinthians 7:10
