Is it important for us to love the Church?
God likened our relationship with the church to a loving relationship between husbands & wives, where trust, love & concern is the core foundation of everything that they do for each other. When we say we are followers of Christ, we should also do what Christ has done; we should love the church with all of our hearts & be ready to sacrifice for it.
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word.” – Hebrews 5:25-26
