I was in prison, and you came to visit me. I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for Me." - Matthew 25:35-40

Saving Grace Project is the Prison Outreach Program of Joseph Feeding Mission Outreach Foundation, Inc. Founded by Ptr. Emerita Barqueros & Janice Pangilinan

It caters to the basic necessities as well as spiritual growth of the prisoners of The Correctional Institute for Women and The Bilibid Prison. The initial beneficiaries of the project are members of the Values Education Class (CIW) under the supervision of Teacher Rose Arriola, who is also an inmate.

The project later on reached further and included our brothers at the Muntinlupa Bilibid Prison, headed by Ptr. Dan Ochoa together with the Men’s Ministry Group of our Church. Bro. Ben Sabejon, also an inmate, helps us in organizing Bible studies and other activities for the group.

Our visits do not only help the inmates spiritually, we also see to it that we are able to attend to their basic needs. We aim to comfort troubled hearts and give hope to those who need it most. Our ministry offers the inmates the opportunity to know the Lord, and continuously remind our brothers & sisters in Christ that God is present everywhere.

These are the men and women who have committed mistakes, presently experiencing the anguish and consequences of what they did, yet has found their way back to the Lord… These are the people who have bravely started their journey in discovering, knowing and loving Jesus.

“Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them,
and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.”
Hebrews 13:3
