True Peace of Mind
Is it possible to have inner peace when you are in the middle of a crisis? The answer is yes. Today, God wants you to know that the best and most beautiful things in life are not seen or touched, but are felt in the heart and spirit.
“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever.”-2 Corinthians 4:17
It’s Time To Move On
We all know that nothing is permanent in this world. Sad to say, sometimes the one who “supposedly” love you the most will abuse your heart the most. Your heart maybe hurting today but God wants you to know that, there is happiness on the other side of goodbye. When God removes something from our lives, it’s not because He’s trying to take away something good. It’s because He’s trying to make room for something better.
“Now remain in My love, I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”-John 15:11
Trust Keeps You Going
When we look at other people rather than God to meet our needs, we are setting ourselves up for disappointment. Why? Because people around us are not perfect. Nobody is. What we should do instead is to pour all our trust in the LORD, for He is the one who said, “Do not worry about anything, instead pray. Tell Him what you need and thank Him for what He has done.”
["The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me."- Psalm 28:7]
You Can Start Again
Like everyone else, you and I make mistakes… but because of what Jesus has done for us, we don’t have to make the same mistakes over & over again. With the new life God has gifted us, we can shake off our negative feelings, have a new attitude and become the person God created us to be.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” -2 Cor 5:17
Savings of Joy for You
Joy produces strength. That’s why the enemy will do everything to steal it, because he knows that once we lose our joy – we lose our strength. If we want to have the kind of joy that stays no matter what happens, we need to make a conscious decision to focus each day on our personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. His presence in our lives will be our never ending source of joy that no one can take away from us.
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10
Under God’s Care
Sometimes we feel fearful about what will happen tomorrow. God is assuring us today that when we are in constant communication with Him through His Word, we will walk steadily in peace and victory. Jesus said, here on earth we will have trials and sorrows, but we must never give up. He has already won the victory for us.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33
The Love That Never Fails
Most of the time, we discover God when we are left on our own. But it is through failure, problems and neediness that we also learn to rely on God. By trusting in His love that will never ever fail, we can start to enjoy a victorious life and look forward to a better tomorrow.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”- 1 Corinthians 13:13
Ask and You Shall Receive
Do not be discouraged when your prayers are still unanswered. Come to God with positive expectations knowing that there is no limit to what He can accomplish. God is able to do far beyond all that you can ask or imagine.
“So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask Him.”-Matthew 7:11
Give Your Mind A Rest
Many times, we say we are trusting God, but our minds are constantly worrying. The Lord is reminding us today to trust in Him always and lean not in our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)
Do you feel tired of thinking about a certain fear or problem? Are you tired of the pain and confusion? Then God is telling you right now to give your mind a rest. Lay aside all your worries, breathe slowly, spend time with Him and just focus on hearing His divine direction. He promised to never turn away if you will just come to Him.
["Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." - John 14:27]
I Will Hope in Him
We serve the most high God and the whole universe is in His hands. No enemy is powerful enough to keep you away from His mercy and love. Great is His plan for your life. That’s why it’s so important that you get to know Him in a deeper way. If you get in agreement with Him, He will not only bring you through the trouble, He will bring you out better off than you ever been before.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” – Lamentations 3:22-24
