Overcome Rejection
If there was one person who suffered rejection more than anyone else in this world, it is our Lord Jesus Christ. He was treated as an outcast, was falsely accused, ridiculed, belittled, abandoned and was betrayed by a close friend.
Are you going through a similar thing? Well, Jesus understands you, and He wants to assure you today that rejection is never fatal, no matter how painful it is. Always remember that other people’s opinion about you doesn’t matter as long as God is on your side.
[ "So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" -Hebrews 13:6 ]
Plan To Succeed
A great man of God once said, “Many people have failed to recognize the answer to their prayer because they were looking for a miracle when God answered with a plan.”
Our Father in heaven is a great planner, and as His children, He also wants us to be the same. He wants us to be good stewards of the time and resources He has given us. Now is the time to drop everything that is not essential in our lives so we can focus on doing the things that God has assigned us to do.
[ And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it."-Habakkuk 2:2 ]
Part 6 – Lifestyle of Worship
The secret to getting or receiving from God is in loving and spending time with Him through worship. Like a man looking for his future bride, God is looking for people who will love Him for who He is, not only for what He can give them.
[ "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."- John 4:23 ]
The Winning Attitude
The Bible reminds us to always guard our thoughts, because our thoughts influence our attitude. Our thoughts are capable of drawing people closer or away from us because people can sense sincerity or hypocrisy.
God is reminding us today that if we want to have “good success” in our lives, we must learn how to have an attitude just like Jesus, who never entertained negative thoughts and always desired the best for other people.
[ "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he..." -Proverbs 23:7 ]
Everyone Has Problems
You may think that you don’t have the talent, money, physical appearance or influence to become successful in life. That’s not true! God has given ALL of His children talents and qualities that can help other people. God created you to be a solution to someone’s problem. God uniquely created you to have something others needed.
That’s why if you want peace and prosperity in your workplace, business, family, or if you want extra favor wherever you go, aim to be a blessing. Be a problem-solver just like Jesus.
[ "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." - 1 Peter 4:10 ]
We Will Overcome
When fear, depression, bitterness and anxiety attacks your mind, remember the sacrifice that Jesus did just to make sure you overcome all of these troubles. Stop worrying and focus on what He has done. Because of Jesus’ obedience to the Father’s will, He has given us the power to become victorious in all the challenges that we face. Don’t let the enemy trick you into believing that you are defeated, that is a big lie! It is finished! Jesus has already won the battle for you!
[ For as by the one man’s disobedience (Adam) many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience (Jesus), many will be made righteous."-Romans 5:19 ]
Redeemed from our Sorrows
Have you ever wanted to do the right thing and still end up making the wrong choices? When your weakness seem to get the best of you, don’t beat yourself up with guilt. Instead, remember that in the midst of Jesus’ anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane, when His soul was sorrowful to the point of death, His mind was focused on our redemption. He has done this so that we can get back up, have the power to say no to sin and have a close relationship with our Father in Heaven who loves us unconditionally.
[ "But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole." -Isaiah 53:5 ]
He Knows My Name
Each of us to some degree, can fool our friends and family about who we really are or what we truly feel. But it’s impossible to do that with God. He knows everything about us, and it makes Him really happy when He sees His children try their best to do His will. Always remember that every good deed done for His glory will never lose it’s reward.
[ "The Lord gives grace and glory. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly." -Psalm 84:11 ]
Nobody Can Steal Your Victory
The enemy will always try to bring you down and hurt you, but always remember this… because of what Jesus has done on the cross and because of His precious blood, you have nothing to fear! All trials and testings are just stepping stones to the victory that awaits you if you will never give up. In quiet confidence, let the Lord be your strength today.
[ "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." -John 16:33 ]
Part 5-Lifestyle of Worship
Most of us spend our time focusing on how we can earn, be happy and make our lives better. That is, until we realize that in our pursuit of happiness, we have forgotten to spend time with our God. True change and lasting direction will only come from the presence of the Lord. That is why we need to worship Him, we need to hear from Him. If you have been disappointed today, God is inviting you to get back on track, hear His voice and experience true change in your life.
["Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and He will give you everything you need." -Luke 12:31]
