Daily Peace and Comfort
Never Forget
Acknowledging God as the “One True Source” of all our needs and the “Only Safe Refuge” when life is difficult, releases us from the bondage of worry and fear. As humans, we tend to focus on life’s complications and forget the simple instructions God has given, in order for us to live a worry-free life. This is His message for …
Our Starting Point
All men experience failure. But those who put their trust in the Lord will receive renewed strength to get up and never give up. Change is essential for growth. God wants to remind us today that our lowest point could be our starting point if we allow Jesus to take over. You may be in a difficult situation right now but always remember that you have a God who can change your “tests” into “testimonies”.
[ "The Lord upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down." - Psalm 145:14 ]
The Sure Solution
People are generally more happy when they find purpose & meaning in their lives, and part of living a meaningful life is being able to be a blessing to the people around them. If you have a problem today and you can’t seem to find a solution, God has one for you… Help others. By using your special gifts to help others, you will experience God’s miraculous answer to your need. Always remember that God’s principles always work if we are bold enough to apply it and if we do not give up easily.
[ "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." - Galatians 6:9-10 ]
Led By God
King Solomon said, “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that stays.” All over the world, many people are going through season of testings, trying their best to find a way out of the trouble they are facing. Today, God wants to remind us that He is the way out. If there’s one thing we need to focus on, it’s our relationship with Him. He promised that when we seek Him first, everything that we need shall be added unto us.
[ The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." - Psalm 32:8 ]
Prepare or Repair?
The Lord can turn around and redeem a life of failure when people choose to build a personal relationship with Him. When we are in tune with God’s guidance and presence, He will teach us how to prepare and He will cause us to make the right choices at the right time.
[ For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11 ]
If You Will Not Give Up
Perseverance turns adversity into advancement. God uses everything in a person’s life – especially the difficult challenges – to remake and transform them into the person He wants them to be. Everything that happens to us has a special purpose that’s why God wants us to be strong and never give up. He is reminding us today to keep our mind settled that He is a good God and that our future is safe with Him.
[ "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" -Galatians 6:9 ]
Sounds That Move God
Its easy to praise God when everything is sunny & things are going well in our lives. But do we still praise Him when we are facing storms? God is reminding us today that our shouts of praise means a lot to Him, especially when times are tough. No matter what storm you are facing right now, be assured that God is working out something far greater than what appears to be happening. He will never leave us in the storm. That’s why, instead of complaining, let’s start praising!
[ "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise. In God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" -Psalm 56:3-4 ]
Success in His Presence
Nothing in this world can ever stop the blessings and full life God has planned for us. If you are feeling down today, our Father in heaven is reminding you that you can accomplish anything if you have Him on your side and if you consistently communicate with Him. Are you confused right now? Spend time with Him. He has a special message for you.
[ "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love." - Romans 8:38-39 ]
The Courage to Let Go
Sometimes, God uses separation to let His children discover true change in their lives. It may hurt at first, but we must believe that God will establish a better replacement for what we have lost. God is reminding us today to stop feeling sorry for ourselves because we can trust in Him. All He wants right now is for us to have faith that He will take care of everything and that He will give us the courage to completely let go.
[ "But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead." -Philippians 3:13-14 ]
[ "Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up;do you not perceive it?" -Isaiah 43:18-19 ]
True Significance
At one point in our lives, we felt the emptiness of living a life without knowing God, until someone was brave enough to share His love and grace to us. Now that we are saved, we ought to do the same to those around us. Sharing to others how they can have eternal life and how much Jesus loves them is a great privilege given to us by our Heavenly Father. We must always remember that fulfilling our mission as Christians will not only bring glory to God but also true significance in our lives.
[ "But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God." -Acts 20:24 ]
A Special Purpose
Do you know that your life has a special purpose? Being “called to serve” God is not exclusive to church ministers and workers. Your life is your pulpit… how you live, how you treat people, how you serve and how you share. Always remember that God is not looking at our weaknesses, He is looking at our hearts. Whenever we serve others in any way, we are actually serving God and fulfilling His purpose for our lives.
[ "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." -Ephesians 2:10 ]
