What is the essence of TEAM BUILDING? - To establish rapport. To build the relationship of the team.
In the Bible, Apostle Paul urged that we, as believers of the Lord Jesus Christ should build each other up in our spiritual growth.
"Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." - 1 Thess. 5:11
The Team Building activity organized by Breakthrough Worship Team Leader Sis. Sharon revolves on the aspects of passion, discipline and
faith which will help the group grow stronger in their love and service to the Lord.
Group Sharing:
1. Love & Passion - The team was blessed and inspired by Bro. Jade and James' messages when they shared their own experiences
about love.
2. Discipline- Bro. Joshua talked about the importance of "PDF" (Passion, Discipline and Faith) in their Christian walk as servants of God.
Through this, the team realized a lot of things such as- who they really want to be in Christ Jesus? What more can they do with their lives
to please God?
3. Faith - Sis. Liza shared with the team her faith and her life with God during her lowest point in life - when she suffered from cancer.
She shared how she received her healing. Each member was moved and blessed by her testimony! The realization that God can use even
our greatest fear and pain for a higher purpose is a big encouragement to everybody.
Games:
The leaders also prepared lots of fun and challenging activities that stimulated the team's bond with each other, such as the paper dance
game, memory verse challenge and song composition. Sis. Gem also shared the "Banana Worship" :)
The Team Building activity ended with so many accomplishments. The setting may be informal but the real purpose and goals of the
activity was reached. First, it successfully established the team's relationship with God and with one another. Second, It stirred up each
member's enthusiasm to know their strengths and find a way to share it for the success of the whole team. And finally, this activity has
drawn everybody closer to Jesus - as they pursue unity, generosity, understanding and love for one another.
