A Breakthrough Experience

August 18, 2009 was the 1st anniversary of TROMS Worship Workshop, and the Breakthrough Worship Team celebrated with a Pajama-Themed Overnight Activity last August 21.

Along with the Church’s ministry workers, the worship team played team games and learned big lessons from it. Each member’s strength was motivated and encouraged, and each weakness were also addressed – like the newspaper dance game, The Lord revealed that whatever happens, especially when things gets smaller and smaller, partners should always work together; even if it requires the stronger person to lift his weaker partner to keep going.

An encouragement session, led by our worship leader Sharon, took place after the fun and games to discuss new materials on how to work effectively as a team. She also gave the opportunity for other members to share what they have experienced in their personal experience with Jesus to motivate the entire group. Breaking Worship Struggles by Jenny, Miraculous Healing through Worship by Liza, Loving God through Real Worship by Jade, and Strengthening the Foundation of a Worshiper by Joshua.

This session had brought the worship team more closely to each other, and with Jesus as the super glue, everyone looked forward to God’s plan for their lives as one unit. Each member’s strength was encouraged, and each weaknesses’ was motivated. And to top it all off, The Holy Spirit moved every one to help each other to contribute and offer Him a new song of praise; all finished in about an hour – another breakthrough for His Glory!

This is just the first year of the entire worship team and this is just the beginning of a long journey in real worship. With passion, discipline and faith, as well as educating themselves spiritually along the way, God would not stop the blessings from flowing and the breakthroughs from coming, as each step will be done with honor, love, praise and worship – in Jesus’ Name.
