Joseph Feeding Mission received a warm welcome from Barangay Bilibiran in Binangonan, Rizal. In partnership with Barangay Chairman Oscarlito “Boy” Sequeña, we were able to gather over 300 children at the Ynares Covered Court, with the help of local health workers.
Before distributing the food, Ps Dan briefly spoke about how and why we need God and His ability to transform us. To hold the children’s attention, Ps Dan even showed a Transformer to help get the message across, which also caught the eyes of bystanders.
The mission team then led the crowd to a prayer of repentance and salvation which brought hope and joy to everyone. Thereafter, the children sat in lines waiting for their hot serving of porridge, which most described as “masarap!”

After every child has been given their share of porridge, it was the local health workers’ turn to enjoy the meal.

Then the barangay employees… and we even left them several pots full of hot porridge for all of them to enjoy.

Feeding really is a very effective way of getting people to hear know about the Gospel and accept the saving love of Jesus Christ. To know how you can get involved, click here.
