JFM Celebrates 1st Anniversary

December 4, 2011 – Joseph Feeding Mission celebrated its 1^st year anniversary with a simultaneous nationwide feeding through its 18 feeding centers across the country.

In celebration of this event, Joseph Feeding Mission Manila went back to its launching site at Sucat, Parañaque where people have gathered to join us in this significant milestone.

We started with the song “Yes, Jesus Loves Me”, leading the children and adults alike to the saving knowledge of Christ’s love for them.

Pastor Emerita spoke afterwards and shared about God’s love and the purpose of our visit.

Then, the children  patiently waited to be given their specially-prepared packed lunch (Fried Chicken). Yum!





Next to be given away were boxes of candies, chocolates and toys that were like early Christmas presents to the kids.








Also, to encourage them to eat healthy, we also gave away hundreds of apples!

Long before we left, everybody were already all-smiles! We really saw how these simple things brightened up their faces, beaming with smiles. Most important, we witnessed how God made known to them His ever-present love and grace.

While all these were happening, 18 other feeding centers across our country were also taking part in our celebration by simultaneously holding feeding missions. By the end of our day-long celebration, calls and reports were already coming in from different regions of the Philippines.  Glory to God!

We are very much thankful to everyone who has been a part of Joseph Feeding Mission. Whether in prayers, in service or in financial support (or all three!), you have been a significant player in this God-breathed mission to feed the hungry and lead them to the One who can satisfy their soul.
