Like a morning mist that soon vanishes, life is short and uncertain. God is reminding us today to never forget Him whenever we make plans, knowing full well that everything that we dream of or wish for is in His hands. We should never allow the distracting nature of our culture today make us neglect God & His ultimate purpose in our lives. His Word tells us that “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Come now, you who say, \u201cToday or tomorrow we will go to that city, spend a year there, carry on business & make money.\u201d Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, \u201cIf it is the Lord\u2019s will, we will live and do this or that.\u201d- James 4:13-15<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
